Day Two
On the grind in Kansas. As per our usual we met good Americans at our local gas stations. Lucky for me I love Casey's pizza, so that was our first stop of the day on Route 36, west across Kansas. The gal who took this picture in front of the Casey's was a real cowgirl. She had her truck and her horse trailer and some sharp looking boots.
How about them cowgirls. A little George Strait song on my ipod speaking of cowgirls. |

Kansas is actually interesting
While chose to travel west through Kansas instead of Nebraska because...Kansas does not require a helmet. We chose Route 36, also known as the Pony Express Highway. Check out the link for some cool Pony Express info.

We also found out that Kansas is home of the Geographical Center of the United States. Right off of 36 we see signs and check it out.
